Apprentice Service Techn ician - San Antonio -- Desire entry-level applicants for Apprentice Service Technician opening in our San Antonio Branch Service Center who wish to start a career in electro-mechanical repair and maintenance field in the dynamic material-handling industry. This apprentice will learn the duties and responsibilities of a Malin Service Technician under the tutelege of experienced technical staff and management. Initially they will handle routine tasks and assist our experienced technicians with equipment repair and maintenance. As they learn and demonstrate their ability to handle more responsibility, their assignments will increase in complexity and skill requirements. There will be occasional classroom training provided by our corporate technical training staff. The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of general industrial experience with some indication of mechanical aptitude, applicable technical training and/or equipment maintenance experience. Must have good references, clean driving record and be drug free. Prefer high school graduates. Some college desirable, not required.

Outside Customer Service Sales Representative -- We seek a customer service pro with outside after-market sales experience in the greater El Paso/Juarez area. Retaining existing customers is the prime directive for this position. Developing incremental and new business is the second objective. This representative will be expected to maintain a regular presence in front of our customers and to keep our equipment sales associates and branch manament abreast of competitive developments and opportunities opportunities in the marketplace. This individual will also play a key role as liaison between our Branch Service Department and our customers in promoting Malin's full line of maintenance and repair services, answering customer questions and resolving service/billing problems that may arise from time to time. The ideal candidate will have a professional appearance, display a sense of urgency in attending to customers' needs, have 3 or more years of customer service/after-market sales experience in an industrial equipment environment. Some college courses or an associates degree in business is preferred. Must posses strong communications and sales abilities, be disciplined and organized in their approach to discharging their daily responsibilities, be able to use a laptop and MS software applications in managing their portfolio of accounts. Malin requires good references, clean driving record and no drugs. The position provides a base salary, commissions and bonuses, a comprehensive benefits package and a car allowance including gas card.

Service Manager - El Paso Branch Office -- Seeking experienced industrial equipment service manager, material-handling equipment background ideal. Will direct and manage field service techncians and branch support staff, and will interface with service customers and support Malin sales representatives in their business development efforts. Will be responsible for recruiting, developing and managing the performance, including customer service, of branch service techncians. Seeking applicants with at least 5-7 years of experience in industrial equipment service business including three years in a leadership role. Must be a good communicator, analytical and possess solid organization skills. Should have basic PC skills. Prefer individual with two or more years of college. Must have good references, clean driving recored, satisfactory background and be drug-free.

Dallas Service Center Technicians (Mechanics) -- Seeking one experienced mechanic and one entry-level apprentice mechanic to work in our Addison Service Center, M-F, 7:00AM-4:00PM. Occasional overtime. Require strong mechnical aptitude or ability to fix industrial equipment including forklifts, automobiles, trucks, military vehicles or factory production equipment. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems a big plus for experienced applicants. Ideal applicants will have local addresses, good references, clean driving records, mechanics' handtools (not the apprentice), be drug free and possess a HS diploma.

Service Mechanics Dallas, Houston, El Paso, San Antonio, McAllen -- Field service positions available for experienced mechanics that have worked on and repaired forklifts, automobiles, trucks, military vehicles or factory production equipment. Field service mechanics must have excellent customer service ability, good communications skills, strong mechanical capabilities, and the ability to trouble-shoot mechanical and electrical problems. Will be provided with equipped service van to travel to local area customer facilities as dispatched. Applicants will need a set of mechanics hand tools, good references and background, clean driving record and HS diploma. Some college desirable. Must be drug free. Strongly prefer local residents for these positions. No relocation support.

Director - Used Equipment/Rental -- Manage and control utilization of rental and used equipment so that return on corportae assets meets business objectives in terms of fleet size, utilization rate and cost to maintain equipment. Manage and direct rental, used equipment and transporation departments, employees, processes and costs to ensure outstanding internal and external customer service. Promote effective communications and positive wroking relationships with service departments, sales and customer service personnel. Seeking analytical individuals with strong business/financial acumen with degree in finance, business or related field. Desire 7-12 years experience in capital equipment rental business including business office administration and asset management. Good organization and communication skills are essential qualities as are effective leadership skills and an understanding of the importance of good customer service. Proficieny in MS Office applications - Excel, Access, OPutlook and PowerPoint - are important. Ideal applicants will possess a positive career trajectory and good references/background.
